Pressure Washer Safety and Setup Checklist
Pressure washers are powerful, efficient tools for outdoor cleaning, equipment wash-downs and hard-surface maintenance. A quick setup check helps protect the operator, the surface and the machine.
Check the surface first
Test a small area before cleaning painted, sealed, timber or older concrete surfaces. Too much pressure, the wrong nozzle or holding the lance too close can leave marks or strip coatings.
Set up the machine properly
Confirm the hose is connected, the water supply is adequate and the nozzle is fitted securely. Keep electrical leads and trip hazards away from wet work areas, and allow space for people to pass safely.
Use the right accessories
Surface cleaners, extension lances, detergents and nozzles can make the job faster and more consistent. If you are unsure, ask EquipGo before starting the job.
